a second half rally from Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Buccaneers to get their first win of the season with a 30-27 victory in Tampa Bay on Monday night.Ben Roethlisberger slipped out of a tackle by Gerald McCoy and flipped a pass to JuJu Smith-Schuster for 18 yards to all but seal the win with just over two minutes to play. Pittsburgh watched a 20-point halftime lead cut to just three with 5:43 left to play. However O. J. Howard Jersey , the Buccaneers were unable to move the ball on their one last chance on offense and the Tampa Bay defense couldn’t get the ball back.Roethlisberger completed 30 of 38 passes for 353 yards and three touchdowns with one interception against the Buccaneers. Meanwhile, Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 411 yards on 30 of 50 passing with three touchdowns, but his three interceptions were a part of four Tampa Bay turnovers that created too big of a hole to dig out from.According to the Buccaneers, Fitzpatrick became the first quarterback in NFL history to throw for 400 yards in three straight games. While Jameis Winston is set to return from suspension this week, Fitzpatrick’s play may keep him in the starting lineup. The Buccaneers took an early lead before the Steelers got rolling. Roethlisberger was intercepted by safety Justin Evans to give Tampa Bay a shortened field to work with. Five plays later, Fitzpatrick connected with Cameron Brate on a 4-yard score to give the Buccaneers the lead. The Buccaneers then struggled to slow down Roethlisberger as Pittsburgh took control of the game.A 75-yard touchdown pass from Roethlisberger to Vance McDonald – along with a brutal stiff arm of safety Chris Conte – got the Steelers on the board, though the extra point by Chris Boswell was missed leaving Tampa Bay with a 7-6 lead. A 38-yard Boswell field goal would put Pittsburgh on top, 9-7, early in the second quarter.A Chris Godwin fumble recovered by the Steelers set up a quick scoring drive as Roethlisberger connected with Antonio Brown for a 27-yard touchdown to extend their lead to 16-7.The Buccaneers survived two Fitzpatrick interceptions without yielding any points, but a third interception was returned for a 10-yard touchdown by Bud Dupree to grab a 23-7 lead. After a 21-yard Chandler Catanzaro field goal trimmed the lead to 23-10, Roethlisberger led a nine-play, 75-yard scoring drive capped with a 1-yard touchdown pass to Ryan Switzer over the final 1:15 of the first half to take a 20-point lead into the break.Tampa Bay began to chip away at the lead from there. Catanzaro made a 28-yard field goal midway through the third quarter to cut the lead to 30-13. Fitzpatrick hit Godwin for a 4-yard touchdown after a 12-play, 63-yard drive to trim the lead to 10 points. A nine-play, 92-yard drive was capped by a 24-yard pass from Fitzpatrick to Mike Evans to make it a 30-27 game with just under six minutes remaining. However, the Buccaneers would go three-and-out on their final possession and tried to get the ball back after punting away. The throw to Smith-Schuster and a 17-yard run by James Conner closed the door on the Buccaneers. Each week, thousands of fantasy football enthusiasts flock to the internet to seek out advice to help them in getting to the top of their leagues.Whether we’re playing in daily fantasy football contests, dynasty leagues or good old re-draft leagues, we’re all out there looking for the best advice we can get.Starting this weekend, those of you who come here as a part of your fantasy sports diet will be getting a little bit more than usual.James Yarcho is joining the weekly column with a pick-six of DFS selections. While the added bit of input is always great, what’s even more fun is the fact James and I won’t be discussing our picks before he sends me his and I add them here at the end.Conflicting opinions are sure to happen, and giving you two sides of the argument in one column will hopefully help you figure out how you see things shaping up for the weekend to come.Without further delay, let’s get to the Week 9 picks and see how we did.QUARTERBACKS (3/3): Aaron Rodgers barely saved our starter projection with his 19-point weekend. Starter numbers, sure, but not quite what we hoped for. Not all wins are pretty. The countdown to Lamar Jackson continues, and Joe Flacco’s QB23 out of a possible 27 are only making fantasy players more anxious to see it happen. Ryan Fitzpatrick returned to the field, and returned to Top-10 status as he hit QB6 against the Carolina Panthers.RUNNING BACKS (3/3): Yes Demar Dotson Jersey , saying start Kareem Hunt is obvious in re-drafts. But, in DFS, not so much? The guy carries a nice price tag. Well, if you rolled him out there anyway, you got RB1 numbers in return. LeSean McCoy came in at RB40 and is officially on the perma-sit list for the rest of the year. James Conner continues his impressive season, and put 29 points on the board despite facing a tough Baltimore Ravens defense.WIDE RECEIVERS (1/3): In our first weekend separating the receivers and tight ends, we nearly took a goose-egg in the receiver department. Adam Thielen turned in liveable numbers with thirteen points, but was six off pace for WR1 status. Meanwhile, Robert Woods also failed to reach WR1 status for his players as he too turned in a thirteen point performance as our sit of the week. The sleeper, Emmanuel Sanders, didn’t take advantage of Demaryius Thomas’ departure, and handed us our second loss of the weekend.TIGHT END (2/3): A little better in the tight end department. David Njoku came up with nine points on decent receiving numbers. Missing out on a touchdown dropped our starter from TE8 to TE14. Our sleeper for Week 9, Trey Burton, came through with eleven points and a Top-10 finish while Vance McDonald continued his on again - off again relationship with fantasy success finishing the weekend as TE21 overall.DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS (3/3): The Chicago Bears have had one of the better defenses all year, but without Khalil Mack, there were some who came into Week 9 a bit concerned. We weren’t. And we rode them as the starter all the way to a DST1 finish with 28 points. For the sleeper, we rolled with the New York Jets. Quarterback injuries, issues, etc. are happening across the city, but the defense in green is solid. They rewarded our confidence with a DST9 finish. Finally, sit any defense facing the Chiefs - maybe - because they are putting up points and yards at record paces. The Browns’ better than advertised unit found out for themselves, and it knocked them down to DST20.OVERALL (12/15): Not a bad weekend for us. Let’s see if we can do even better. I’m talking to you wide receiver group. On to Week 10!WEEK 10 FANTASY FOOTBALL START, SIT, AND SLEEPERSQUARTERBACKSJeremy Brevard-USA TODAY SportsSTART: Ryan Fitzpatrick, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (vs Washington Redskins)Fitzpatrick’s return to the starting lineup in Week 9 was a success. Not for the Bucs, but for his fantasy players who put him in their game. This week Womens Caleb Benenoch Jersey , he should have similar numbers or better against the Redskins.SIT: Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks (@ Los Angeles Rams)Wilson currently stands right outside of starting quarterback range for most fantasy football leagues. Facing the Rams defense won’t do him any favors, and even though he’s PFF’s QB10, I just don’t see him cracking the Top-12. Look elsewhere.SLEEPER: Marcus Mariota, Tennessee Titans (vs New England Patriots)Did you guys see Mariota last week? The fourth-year quarterback has struggled with consistency and injury in his first act as an NFL signal-caller, but a QB5 finish and masterful performance last week was very impressive. The New England Patriots are giving up an average of nearly 20-points per week to quarterbacks. Could we see back-to-back strong performances by Mariota? Maybe.RUNNING BACKSJake Roth-USA TODAY SportsSTART: Aaron Jones, Green Bay Packers (vs Miami Dolphins)Trading Ty Montgomery isn’t going to hurt Aaron Jones, and neither is the Dolphins defense. Start him with extreme prejudice.SIT: Joe Mixon, Cincinnati Bengals (vs New Orleans Saints)This won’t be a popular opinion, but it’s mine and I’m sticking to it. Without A.J. Green, the Saints defense - who as progressively gotten better throughout the season - will have much less to worry about. Tyler Boyd helps, but I still don’t see Mixon getting big numbers this week.SLEEPER: Dion Lewis, Tennessee Titans (vs New England Patriots)Two Titans sleepers? James Yarcho and Evan Winter will be proud.Tennessee’s offense runs better when there’s a good mixture of Mariota and Lewis. I see it. You see it - if you’ve seen the Titans - and everyone else sees it. Hopefully, Mike Vrabel and his coaching staff do too.Oh, and there’s the whole storyline about Lewis facing the Pats.WIDE RECEIVERSJay Biggerstaff-USA TODAY SportsSTART: Tyreek Hill, Kansas City Chiefs (vs Arizona Cardinals)Yes, I know. If you have him in a season-long league you’re going to start him. Of course you’re going to start him. Listen, this is for every format though. I don’t care what game you’re playing; re-draft, DFS, best-ball, whatever. Start. Tyreek. Hill. Against. Arizona.SIT: T.Y. Hilton, Indianapolis Colts (vs Jacksonville Jaguars)Jacksonville may have slipped a bit since last season, but it’s not because of the defense. Hilton is talented, but if I had to pick a position player to have a strong outing it’d be Marlon Mack. The Jaguars will make it a point to keep Hilton smothered.SLEEPER: Golden Tate, Philadelphia Eagles (vs Dallas Cowboys)Is there any way to make a better entrance than joining a post-season contending offense in a bye week leading into a home debut? This is exactly what Tate is doing this weekend with the Eagles, and he single-handedly transforms the way defenses will have to play the Philly offense. So far in 2018 Womens Jason Pierre-Paul Jersey , Tate has yet to have double-digit receptions in a single game, only two games over 100-yards and only has scores in two contests with one two-touchdown performance. A bold prediction for Week 10 - Tate has at least ten catches, over 100-yards and at least two scores. TIGHT ENDSJeremy Brevard-USA TODAY SportsSTART: O.J. Howard, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (vs Washington Redskins)So, if you’re reading this correctly, a Fitzpatrick and Howard stack is going to be incredibly valuable this weekend. The Redskins allow a 62% completion rate to opposing tight ends, and it certainly looked like Fitzpatrick realized how valuable Howard could be last week.SIT: Evan Engram, New York Giants (@ San Francisco 49ers)The 49ers currently allow fewer than eight points per game on average to opposing fantasy football tight ends. Engram is a victim of a Giants offense in desperate need of a new quarterback and perhaps a better scheme all together. This game will be about Saquon Barkley with some Odell Beckham Jr. sprinkled in. With Engram on the outside looking in.SLEEPER: Jordan Reed, Washington Redskins (@ Tampa Bay Buccaneers)Jordan Reed isn’t the tight end he used to be, but the Buccaneers linebackers and safeties aren’t who they used to be either. Of the five starting defenders in the middle area of the field for Tampa Bay, only two remain on the field entering Week 10. The replacements have been a mixture of rookies and veteran back-ups. Not good.If there’s a weekend where Reed could look like the Reed of old, it’ll be this one.DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMSSteve Mitchell-USA TODAY SportsSTART: New York Jets (vs Buffalo Bills)In some circles, you may be able to start both defenses. In fact, it wouldn’t totally surprise me if this game came down to which defense had the most scoop-and-scores or pick-six touchdowns. But, if I’m picking one - which I am - I’m going with the Jets defense at home against the Bills ‘offense’.SIT: Philadelphia Eagles (vs Dallas Cowboys)It’s Eagles vs Cowboys, so you know it’ll be fun. More importantly though, the Cowboys are coming into another chance at utilizing Amari Cooper properly. This should be the week we see it come together a bit, and if you’re playing on mybookie, take the over. If you’re playing fantasy football, don’t take either defense.SLEEPER: Los Angeles Chargers (@ Oakland Raiders)The Chargers defense isn’t the full unit we thought we’d see entering the season, but they aren’t bad either. Through nine weeks, the Chargers are on pace to be DST7 in the NFL. Not bad, and going against the Raiders, they could see a jump in that number this weekend.
