However, with Anaheim losing Francois Beauchemin to a broken finger, and having recently traded Bryan Allen, they could use a veteran with some size on the blueline. Expectations should be minimal at this stage of his career and it won’t come as a surprise if Brewer becomes a spare part once all Ducks defencemen are healthy.
