Return man Andre Roberts is going to the Buffalo Bills.Roberts averaged 29.4 yards as a kickoff return guy last year and took one back for a touchdown. He also posted a 14.1 average on punt returns and added a touchdown there. With all of that said, I can’t find a ton of fault in the Jets for letting Roberts go. That production was well above his career averages in both phases. This seems like a clear case of a career year at 30 years old and a prime regression candidate. And with kickoff returns slowly being phased out of the league, it just doesn’t make sense to pay a premium for a return man.It was a tremendous season for Roberts in green and white that ended in a Pro Bowl. Now he is a division rival.
